How This Is Calculated

Tile count = area divided by tile area, rounded up. Wastage is added for cuts at edges and corners. Diagonal patterns need significantly more wastage as each edge tile must be cut at 45°. Always order from the same batch reference to ensure colour consistency.

Measure each wall section and the floor separately. For walls, use net area (excluding door, window and bath/shower openings). Add 10–15% wastage. Calculate tiles for each surface separately as cuts may create useful off-cuts that can be used on adjacent walls. Always buy 10% extra — off-cuts from one wall rarely fit the next perfectly.
